Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) held a regular mass cataract surgery at RSCM Kirana on August 4, 2018. This regular activity is organized to help alleviate people suffering from cataracts who are financially unable. In addition, this activity also aims to succeed the government program "Indonesia Free of Cataract 2020". In collaboration with Perdami Jaya and RSCM Kirana this time served surgery to 50 patients out of 60 patients who registered at the Kana Clinic which is under the management of Karya Alpha Omega (KAO) Foundation. They came from various areas in Jakarta and surrounding areas as well as from outside the region. The patients who could not participate in Cataract surgery were due to blood pressure disorders that affected their readiness for surgery.
This mass cataract surgery activity is held regularly every 3 months. People who need help to undergo cataract surgery can come directly to the Kana Palace Clinic, on Jl. RP. Soeroso No.24, RT.9/RW.5, Cikini, Menteng, Central Jakarta City, Jakarta 10330. After going through a screening process regarding the patient's physical health condition, the patient will be asked to wait for the schedule to undergo surgery. It is hoped that this activity can help improve the vision of cataract patients so that they can return to carrying out their daily activities and provide for their families.
