'Bangkit NTB' becomes the spirit of the peak event of SBJ Sail Moyo Tambora 2018

The peak event of Sail Moyo Tambora 2018 was held at Badas Harbor, West Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara on September 9, 2018. The opening of Sail Moyo Tambora 2018 was symbolically marked by the blowing of the serunai.

The event was attended by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya, Governor of West Nusa Tenggara Muhammad Zainul Majdi, Regent of Sumbawa, Asops KASAL Vice Admiral TNI, Aan Kurnia, S.Sos, Aspotmar KASAL, Rear Admiral TNI Edi Sucipto, Fleet Commander II, Rear Admiral Didik Setiyono S.E, M.M, Kadispotmar, Kadiskesal.

According to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, the message of Sail Moyo is one of tourism. However, this activity also wants to convey the message of 'NTB Bangkit' with the ongoing handling of the earthquake going well.

Asops KASAL said that in Sail Moyo Tambora 2018, the Navy carried out various activities such as: PELANTARA which aims to increase the sense of maritime spirit to support government policies in the maritime axis; SURYA BHASKARA JAYA which targets to serve more than 5000 patients at several points in Sumbawa with a focus on residents who need it due to various obstacles faced. SBJ's goal, among others, is also to support Sail Moyo Tambora in order to encourage regional economic potential.

In this event, invited guests can also watch some stunning shows and attractions, including theater performances, marching bands, sailing passes of 248 fishing boats and parachuting attractions by Navy marines.
