Drinking Water Installations Across Palembang

YPP (Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih), in collaboration with YBMI (Yayasan Bahtera Maju Indonesia), provided drinking water installations for the community in Palembang City, South Sumatra. YPP carried out the handover on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Aulia Cendekia Islamic Boarding School.

This time YPP provided direct assistance to 10 locations, namely:

• Aulia Cendikia Islamic Boarding School
• Ki Merogan Mosque
• Light of Faith Mosque
• Sjakhyakirti University
• Peduli Anak Yatim Orphanage 
• SMAN plus 17
• Dr AK Gani Hospital
• Sriwijaya Regional Military Command II Logistics
• Darussalam Orphanage and Islamic Boarding School
• Harapan Kita Nursing Home

The symbolic handover was conducted by the General Manager of YPP, Dewi Yudho Miranti, to the Head of the Aulia Cendekia Islamic Boarding School, KH. Hendra Zainudin. Also in attendance was YBMI representative, Dwi Fajar.

The drinking water installations were provided to the male santri dormitory with around 300 students in total. The groundwater used by the Aulia Cendikia Islamic boarding school is not suitable for drinking, highlighting the benefits they would reap with the provision of these installations by YPP.
