Gender Equality Education in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatera

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih in collaboration with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk held a Gender Equality Education event in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra on 20 September 2024.

The speaker of this event was Mrs. Nelsy Tondang, a social activist who dedicates her life to helping others. She provided education on the current status of Indonesian women and how to fight for women's rights.

The event was also attended by Bank BTN representatives, namely Mr Yudhistiro Eko Sejati as Branch Manager of BTN KC Pematangsiantar, as well as the Head of Gunung Malela Sub-District, Mr Roi Gozali.

On that occasion, 100 basic food packages were also distributed to Empowerment and Family Welfare women who attended the counseling event.
