Mass General Treatment of Sukajaya Sub-district in Collaboration with Amal Bhakti FMKS & OBI Foundation

A total of 10 medical teams of Obor Berkat Indonesia (OBI) were deployed to treat the people from 4 villages in the Sukajaya sub-district of Bogor district who flocked to the Sukajaya Village Multipurpose Building for a Mass General Medicine event on Saturday, July 29, 2017. In addition to the OBI Medical Team, three nurses from the local puskesmas also helped with the tension checks.

YPAPK also collaborates with the charity foundation Forum Muda Kreatif Sukajaya (FMKS), a group of young people with a strong social conscience who want to improve the lives of their villagers. They were in charge of obtaining permits, preparing the location of the social service and mobilizing the villagers, as well as identifying villagers with serious illnesses who could not come to the village hall so that the medical team could pick them up. One of them was Mrs. Uum (46 years old), an asthma and lung patient who was lying weakly in her house.

Despite a blackout and heavy rain, the spirit of the Medical Team of OBI and FMKS did not die out in carrying out this social activity, so that more than 500 residents of the Kec. Sukajaya were successfully treated. It is hoped that the social activities carried out by YPAPK, OBI and FMKS will always benefit the people in need and make their lives better.
