PMI Awards YPP for Consistency and Concern for Blood Availability

YPP received an appreciation from PMI Surabaya for their consistency and concern for PMI's blood supply. The award was received by Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) SCTV Indosiar in the 74th PMI Anniversary Commemoration event at Grandcity Ballroom on the 4th Floor of Grandcity Convex, Surabaya. The awarding activity for a number of PMI partners was held in conjunction with the Blood Donor humanitarian activity which was a collaboration between PMI Surabaya City, Grand City, Surabaya and the DANA fintech application followed by 550 donors.

YPP SCTV Indosiar received an award from PMI Surabaya City for its concern and consistency in conducting social activities, namely Blood Donation.YPP and PMI have often collaborated in organizing blood donation activities. YPP's cooperation with PMI includes organizing a regular Ramadan blood drive to help PMI maintain its blood supply, which is often reduced before Eid. 

The event, which was also attended by the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Chairman of the East Java Regional PMI and the Central PMI Management, the Surabaya PMI Management, went smoothly and festively. In her remarks, the Governor of East Java expressed her appreciation to all parties who have committed to support PMI so that PMI can provide safe, broad, equitable and quality services, including Pundi Amal Peduli Foundation of SCTV Indosiar who have received appreciation on the 74th PMI Anniversary from PMI Surabaya City. An award was also presented from the Indonesian and World Records Museum to PMI Surabaya City for the record of the 100 X largest number of voluntary blood donors throughout Indonesia in 2012 - 2018.
