Imam Sudjarwo expressed his support for the outreach activities, citing its importance in educating students on how to interact with social media, seeing as it continues to rise to prominence amongst elementary school students.
The sessions were led by Kak Ningnong and Kak Oma in which the two would discuss topics surrounding social media and its dangers, as well as the proper way to use it. After a Q&A session with students, the team found that most students had accounts on various platforms, such as Tiktok or Instagram, and had access to their own personal cell phones. Some were even reported to have sold accounts before.
The student representatives, Azka Fadilah and Karunia Latifah, expressed their gratitude for the activities, feeling that they were able to have fun while gaining new knowledge.
