YPP and Mangga Dua Square Hold Blood Donation Event in Celebration of Indonesia's 74th Anniversary and SCTV's 29th Anniversary

To celebrate the 74th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, YPP in collaboration with Mangga Dua Square and PMI DKI Jakarta organized a blood donation event of 1000 blood bags. This activity aims to increase the supply of blood bags at PMI DKI Jakarta. The activity was held at the Drop Off & Hall A area of Mangga Dua Square, North Jakarta, Saturday, August 24, 2019.

The event, which was also held to celebrate SCTV's 29th Anniversary, managed to collect 355 blood bags from 444 donors who packed Mangga Dua Square. On this occasion SCTV featured Miss Celebrity and Presenter, Christi Colondam and Irwan D'Academy to encourage the donors and even Christi donated her blood. In this activity Hakka (Han Chinese Community) as one of Mangga Dua Square's partners also enlivened this blood donation activity by distributing goody bags for donors.

It is hoped that this blood donation activity can attract new donors so that more blood bags can be obtained to save the lives of our brothers and sisters in need.
