YPP Inaugurates ASA Bridge in Sipak Village, Jasinga. Entertained by Three SCTV Artists

On August 9, 2018, the community of Sipak Village, Jasinga District, Bogor Regency welcomed the completion of the Sipak Village Bridge after a 3-month rehabilitation period by the Kampung Volunteer Team, the implementer of SCTV's Jembatan ASA program. The SCTV Asa Bridge Program was initiated by SCTV to repair a number of damaged bridges throughout Indonesia. The funds used to repair the bridges came from viewers' donations during the SCTV ASA Bridge program, which has been running since 2015 to coincide with SCTV's anniversary.

Symbolically, the inauguration of the Sipak Village ASA Bridge was marked by ribbon cutting and handover from SCTV represented by SCTV Deputy Director of Programming, David W Suwarto to the residents of Sipak Village represented by the Head of Jasinga Sub-District, Drs. Asep Aer Sukmaji. To enliven the event and also entertain the community, SCTV invited three artists who often appear on SCTV screens, namely Dude Herlino @dude2harlino; Rizky Nazar @rizkynazar20; and Cut Syifa @cutsyifaa. Together they greeted and joined in the fun with the residents. They also left a message for the residents to maintain and care for the bridge in their village.

The ASA Bridge in Sipak Village, Jasinga is the 17th bridge built from SCTV viewers' funds in the SCTV ASA Bridge program. The total number of bridges repaired since 2015 in the SCTV ASA Bridge program is 19 bridges. The hope is that the existence of adequate bridges will help community mobilization which in turn will improve the economy, education and health of residents in the area. Thank you SCTV viewers. Our concern is their hope.
